My problem isn't with women doing great things. It's with average women thinking that they are great women and are disgusted with the idea of being a home maker. It cracks me up that women used to help work the family farm, do all manner of work on the frontier, take factory jobs etc, and children could legally labor in America until 1938 (and even then farm work was exempted), then after taking the 1950's off the narrative suddenly became that before 1960 women had always sat around the house with children who also never worked. I couldn't think up a bigger troll on our female ancestors if I tried.
